Tash's Story: What a Past Life Regression Taught Her About Rest
A clients story
Client Story | Past LIfe Regression | Akashic Healing
Tash came to see me as a case study for Past Life Regression. She wasn't chasing a specific answer. It was an invitation (She is a projector) and curiosity that brought her through the door. Exploring a pattern she couldn't quite explain.

The Problem
Tash has been building her Yoga Teaching practice here in Wantage, Flowing Flamingo [go and checkout her website www.flowingflamingo.com ]. She came from working in a fast paced Corporate world. As a projector her energy flows inconsistently. The literal flow of yoga was inviting her to come face to face with a different way of showing up.
With this different way of being Tash was noticing a pattern that was repeating itself. She would feel energised, motivated and completely in her element for days at a time, riding a wave of productivity. Then, without fail, the wave would break. Fatigue, overwhelm and the edge of burnout would catch up with her.
She knew how important rest was. She just found it very difficult to actually do it. Underneath the pattern sat a deeper belief: that working constantly, and doing lots of things at once, was the only way to be an independent woman. And with a deep rooted desire for financial independence, any time she did stop, guilt followed close behind, a sense that she wasn't pulling her weight in her relationship.
Tash shares:
“I felt a sense of guilt when resting, like I wasn’t pulling my weight.”
The Approach
Tash walked into the session as a leap of faith, and she told me afterwards that she liked it that way. Not knowing what she was walking into, gave space for the session to unfold on its own terms.
We began by chatting, going through the questions I had sent her when she had booked in. After 30 minutes I invited her to get comfortable so we could begin the hypnosis regression.
The regression begins with a calming, grounding hypnosis. A regression that brings your whole body into a place of feling safe and calm so it can supportthe unconscious in opening the door to one of her past lives. From there, we moved scene by scene. With gentle questioning from me, Tash took herself around the scene. She was in control of the whole time. Sharing with me about what she could see, hear and feel as she progressed through the ages of that life, right through to her final moment in it.
“I could feel how she felt, see what she saw and sense temperatures. At one point I was in a desert and was so hot I was actually sweating on Caroline’s chair.”
Throughout, Tash remained calm and grounded, always aware that she was sat safely in the treatment room.
With every Past Life Regression we end with the death scene. Whilst yes, it sounds scary, but really it is one of the most beautiful things. It is where the deep healing happens. Like any other 'death scene' hers, when it came, wasn't frightening. She described it as poignant, and quietly sad, a scene she still returns to.
What Shifted
The past life Tash met had been alone for most of her life, without anyone to depend on, even in childhood. She had to work hard for herself because she had no choice.
Tash's life looks nothing like that one. A loving childhood, close friends, a supportive partner and family. What she carried away from the session was the understanding that her “independent workaholic” self wasn't really hers. It belonged to a woman who never had the option to slow down.
“I know that a lot of my fear based work motivations are actually coming from my past life and not my own from this one. It’s helped me to let them go and ground myself in the reality of my own situation and life.”
It has also reshaped how Tash sees the people around her. She now feels a deeper gratitude for the family, friends and partner her past life self never had.
The Healing
The alchemy of the healing that took place was one of acceptance and release. I blended in Akashic healing, Reiki and Quantum healing. Working with Tash's starseed energy to reach somewhere far deeper than the physical, a high vibrational space where a real clearing could happen. It was there that the past life memory could be witnessed, honoured and finally released, so that what Tash saw didn't just stay as a memory. It moved through her and out.
Her Future Self
Tash hasn't stopped the pattern entirely, and she is honest about that. What has changed is her ability to notice it as it happens, and to pause before falling straight back into old habits.
“I am able to recognise when the patterns are occurring, and then ask myself, what would my past life want me to do. That question has helped me to take breaks and rest in times where historically I wouldn’t have.”
Asked what she would say to someone feeling the way she used to feel, Tash didn't hesitate:
“Go and see Caroline!”
This is what Hypnotherapy, and Past Life Regression, can look like.

What this tells us
Sometimes the answer isn't found by thinking harder. It's found by moving past the logical altogether, into a place of the unknown, or at least somewhere unknown to us in this lifetime.
There is a kind of alchemy in that. Tash didn't reason her way out of the guilt. She stepped through a door into a memory that wasn't hers in this life, and came back changed. The unconscious mind doesn't need everything to make sense before it responds. It just needs the space to show you what it already knows.
If a pattern in your life has followed you for as long as you can remember, and you are ready to understand where it began, this is the kind of work I do.
