Confidence is not something some people are born with and others are not. It is something that gets shaped, chipped at, and sometimes quietly dismantled over years of experiences, messages, and moments that told you to be less, stay small, or not trust yourself.

HOW I WORK WITH CONFIDENCE

At the heart of my approach is the understanding that low confidence is rarely about the surface-level situation. It is usually rooted somewhere deeper, in early experiences, in the stories we were told about ourselves, or in a nervous system that learned to brace rather than trust.

I use Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, Rapid Solution Therapy (RST), inner child work, and parts therapy to gently address both the symptoms and the roots. We build new neural pathways, new ways of relating to yourself, and a growing sense of your own worth that does not depend on external validation.

For some clients, reiki and reflexology alongside the hypnotherapy sessions can be a powerful support, particularly where low confidence is held in the body as physical tension, a tight chest, or a constant sense of bracing. Sometimes the body needs to feel safe before the mind can fully follow.

HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?

Confidence work typically benefits from a sustained course of sessions, usually somewhere between six and ten, depending on how deep-rooted the patterns are and how long they have been present. Most clients begin to notice a shift in how they feel within the first few sessions, a quietening of the inner critic, a little more ease in situations that used to feel fraught.

 

By the end of a full course, the changes tend to feel solid and self-sustaining rather than fragile. That is the goal: not confidence that depends on everything going right, but a grounded sense of yourself that holds steady even when things are hard.

INVESTMENT

Hypnotherapy sessions are £95 each when booked as a block of three or more, or £135 for a single session. For anxiety work, a block is usually the most effective and most cost-efficient way to begin.
