Abundance as Leadership: Exploring the Wisdom of Gate 45

Gate 45, known as The Gate of the Gatherer, carries the energetic blueprint of leadership through stewardship. This gate speaks through the language of “I have”. Expressing what resources are present and available or “I have not”, which can trigger themes of lack or scarcity. It holds the power to gather, to allocate, and to care for the material and energetic needs of the wider group. Whether you are leading a family, a business, a team, or a community, Gate 45 asks: What do we have? And how can I guide us in using it well?

This is not leadership through force but through provision. It is about the responsibility that comes with abundance and the trust that must be built when overseeing resources.

The Throat Centre: Expression that Influences

As part of the Throat Centre, Gate 45 is not just about resource management, but also about how we speak about what we have. The Throat is the centre of manifestation and communication. When Gate 45 is active, your voice becomes a tool for influence – especially around money, material things, and the wellbeing of others.

If your Throat Centre is defined, your voice around these themes may be consistent and magnetic. If it is undefined, your ability to express these things may depend on who is around you – though this can offer great flexibility and wisdom when embraced.

The Channel of Money: 21–45

When Gate 45 connects with Gate 21 in the Heart Centre, it forms the Channel of Money. This channel embodies the essence of tribal leadership. It combines the drive to control and manage (Gate 21) with the ability to oversee and distribute (Gate 45).

People with this channel defined are designed to create material stability not just for themselves but also for those they care about. There is a deep desire to generate wealth, but always with a sense of fairness, protection, and loyalty. You may find that you naturally take on leadership roles where money, assets, or wellbeing are involved – not for ego, but from a desire to make sure everyone is looked after.

The Shadow and the Medicine

The shadow of Gate 45 can arise when the voice turns to “I have not”. This can manifest as a fear of not having enough – time, money, influence, or security. In this space, there may be hoarding or an unwillingness to share due to a deep sense of lack.

The medicine is to come back to the present moment and ask: What do I actually have right now that can serve someone else? This does not mean emptying your cup completely, but rather noticing what is already flowing and trusting that giving does not deplete you when done from alignment. True abundance does not cling. It circulates.

Sun Transit Insights: A Moment of Reflection

As the sun moves through Gate 45, it illuminates our relationship with abundance, community, and responsibility. This is a powerful time to reflect on how you use your voice to influence material outcomes. Are you speaking from fear or from grounded generosity? Are you stepping forward in service or retreating into scarcity?

This transit may bring awareness to your financial decisions, leadership style, or even how you talk about money. It is also a time to consider the collective – what role do you play in the resources of your team, family, or network?

Defined vs Undefined Throat Centre

Defined Throat:You likely have a reliable and clear way of speaking about material matters. You may find people come to you for leadership or advice, especially around money, security, or group wellbeing. Be mindful not to over-identify with what you "have" – your value is not measured by your possessions.

Undefined Throat:You may feel pressure to speak or lead even when the timing is off. Your voice around money and provision may feel inconsistent. This is not a weakness but a gift – your ability to speak through the lens of others allows you to be a flexible leader, one who adapts and empowers.

Ask yourself: Am I trying to attract attention by speaking out of alignment? Can I rest in the wisdom of waiting to be invited?

Gate 45 for Self-Reflection
  • What do I truly have to offer my community right now?

  • Where am I experiencing scarcity and what beliefs sit beneath that feeling?

  • In what ways am I being called to lead or steward, and am I resisting or embracing that call?

“True leadership is not about control or status. It is about holding space, offering service, and sharing what you have with open hands and a strong heart.” – Unknown
