I am loving these Omega 3, gut loving, protein and iron filled crackers!! Super easy to make.
1 cup Linseeds
2 tbsp Chia Seeds
2 tbsp Sunflower seeds
3 tbsp Pumpkin Seeds
2 tbsp Pine nuts (optional)
1 tbsp Zatar (optional)
Mix all the ingredients together along with 250ml water. Leave them to sit for 15 minutes whilst the seeds absorb the water and become jelly-like.
On two baking trays and using a fork, I spread the mixture out thinly into small squares. You can always break them up when cooked, so don’t worry too much about how big or small they are. Just make sure that they are of a size that you can turn them over easily as you need to bake both sides.
At 180 degrees C, bake for 15 minutes, turn them over, and bake for a further 10 minutes.
For those that are plain are really yummy with Almond butter and banana!
Note: These are best fresh out the oven. If you have any left over store them in a air tight container and pop them back in the oven for 5 minutes to crisp them up.
